I promise I have made a search into the Forums trying to find the answer to my question, but no way, probably because of my bad english...
My question: Could anybody tell me which are the Years that the MoCo manufactured the Softail Bad Boy with Evolution Engine ???? My idea is 1995 to 1998... but I'n mot sure
I love going to rallyes and test driving bikes. In the late '90's was out to Sturgis, and forgot to set my watch for the time change, and ended up on the west edge of Sturgis an hour before they started giving demo's. The Harley guys were unloading their semi and complaining about the employees who hadn't shown up yet, and I ended up helping them roll off the bikes and lining them up for the demo's.When we got done, they told me to take my choice of bikes and go out for a ride, just so I was back at 9:00.
Here's a pic of the bike I choose, several miles outside of Sturgis. It was the first time I ever drove a Springer. What a nice bike. I believe this would have been 1996, and the bike was a '97.
They came out with the blacked out Nightster. Be interesting to see how well that one sells. Apparently from the article posted, the Bad Boy didn't sell well.
I've seen a couple over the years come up on Ebay.

A very good friend of mine has a '95 FXSTSB and it is absolutely the most beautiful bike Harley has ever produced (IMHO). It's a true shame it was such a short lived model, and I would definately agree that I wouldn't have the bike I have now if they were still available.
