I'll usually pull right along side. Once I come to a full stop I'll lift my leg that's closest to them, lean in the opposite direction and rip a huge fart. Then I'll leave a smokey burn-out all the while laughing like a crazed mad-man.
I was on a 2 lane road and about 8 bikes pull up in the left lane. I was in the right lane. I was actually in the right hand part of the right lane. The last guy comes up in my lane. He's on a soft tail and has two pipes on the right hand side. He never looks over at me and is talking to his buddy in the left hand lane. He wraps on his throttle and clearly has no baffles and it was loud as hell in my ears. When the light turn green, he took off then swerve in front of me withabout 10 feet to spare, slammed on hisbrakes which made his bike fish tail and burn rubber and took off. Itried to catch him, but at the time, I had only been riding a few months, plus I was 2-up. Later I saw his bike at the titty bar, but my wife begged me to keep going and I did. I was going to mess his bike up.
Stay back, and only pull up if they are pulled over to one side of the lane and invite you up next to them. It's common courtesy.
Exacctly! And if I am the first one at the light and I want to talk to someone behind me I move to one side of the lane an look over my shoulder. They usually pull up beside me and say "HI". If I am not interested in socializing that day I stay center and look straight forward and they will stay back. (I don't do that often. Only when I am in a hurry or I am at a rally where there are thousands of bikes etc, ) It's that simple.

I pull up next to them if they're left or right in the lane and nod or say hi. When it's time to go... I hesitate a sec to let them start off first and then I start off slower than they did. If they're in the middle of the lane, I stagger to one side a little behind.
