I want my own lane unless I am riding with someone I know or at least in the same group on a group ride. I usually am on one side or another and it should not be viewed as an invitation. I just prefer to not park in the oil and junk left behind by the cages. Don't really care to much at a stop but I do worry about someone dumping it into me if they don't know what they are doing. Even if they do stuff happens to the best of us. I get pissed though when someone I don't know tries to share my lane when we are at speed.
I pull right up next to em,,,, look over, nod,,, and yell
I lowered my cholesterol today!!!
Rick - I hope I lowered my cholesterol today but not sure. I do know I got a great deal on my car insurance though since switching to Geico. Seen a lot of your posts. Pretty entertaining.
I can't believe this is serious. Ride up next to them and spit in their eye!For God's sake we are talking about being stopped at a light. If I am at a light left or right of center and some guy pulls up behind me and hangs back I am thinking he isanti-social or just a big puss.
Come on, remember head out of the highway, looking for adventure? How the hell you going to ever meet anyone or have any fun if you don't at least say hello???
Geez, do you guys wave at fellow bikers and then you are afraid to ride up and say hello? Do you
stop at a light in your cage and stare straight ahead so you don't make eye contact?
GET A GRIP - ride up, say hello, ask where you can get a beer or get laidor.........I guess you can just wave and blow kisses.
I own the road, but bikes are the only thing small enough to knock around, so I ram them out of the lane and take their spot, cause it's MY ROAD. Get over it. If I'm in a cage, I ram everything smaller out of the way, especially baggers.
There sure are a lot of stupid replies here. Can't believe how many "bikers" think they own the lane they're in. If you're in the middle, your lane. If you're left or right, I might pull up and nod. You don't like it...F-U.

I pull up next to them if they're left or right in the lane and nod or say hi. If they're in the middle of the lane, I stagger to one side a little behind.
That's how I do it.
Yeah me too. I always let them lead when the light changes. It's crowded in Cali, lane sharing is allowed and like someone else said I feel safer in numbers. When on the fwy, and I see a lone H-D rider I will catch up with em and ride behind him. If he allows, I assume formation. Give em a wave when we separate.
Anyone who knows how to ride in the first place dosnt stop behind a 4 wheeler pointed straight at them...always stop at an angle that will get your *** outta the way of the idiot on his cell phone coming up behind you...that is if some of you ****in morons even look in your mirrors, other than to admire yourselves...
