Default Question on new bike warranty

I laid my bike down and it bent the rear brake control back up high so I have to take my foot off the forward pedal to hit the brake.

Can I take this into any HD Dealership for repair, or do I have to take it to the dealer I purchased the bike from? Bike is still under warranty.

- Thanks

You can take it anywhere to have it fixed. If it were me I'd just buy a brake lever and put it on myself. Probably going to cost you $80-$100 and hr to have them do it.

I would DYI a new brake lever. you caused the damage so the warranty will not cover the repair. you will just be wasting a hundred dollars. look at the billet ones you can get for it. lots of options when it comes to lower controls.

Your warranty has nothing to do with it--you had an accident, not a warranty issue.

If you have a tour model, instead of the stock one, get an ezbrake. Much easier to use than the antiquated Harley rear brake stomp pedal .

Might think about putting that engine guard on while you're at it. Put mine on. Two weeks later dropped it in the yard. Fortunately only on the grass but it was on the brake side so maybe the guard prevented what happened to you?.
