Walmarts (at least in Texas) there parking lots are private property. That's why if there is a fender bender they don't get involved-unless there is an injury. I stay out of the handicapped areas but I do park in the diagnal lines next to a lite post or something similar. I have parked up on the sidewalk at Sams, along with the other employee bikes. Walmart could have it towed but in 10 years I have never had a problem.
The South has always said it would rise again and over take the North, who knew it would be a small company from Bentonville,Arkansas that would do it--- Walmart
My bike is better than everyone else's...why you ask.....Because its mine I'm the one responsible for fixing it if someone else jacks it up. Its my bike my money on the line, why shouldn't i treat its the last bike on earth. Who else is gonna look out for my stuff certainly not the buckethead who just whacked my handlebars because he was texting instead of paying attention. "insecure" ?! this isn't like taking some girl out for dinner and getting mad because she smiled at the waiter(or waitress, u never know these days). there r real major big time jackasses who live for the oppourtunityto make everyone eles's live as crappy as theirs. Why leave your money not to mention your pride and joy(that is at leastfor most Harley owners) open to such idiocy?!?!?!?!
I usually park in the yellow zone next to a pole at the end of the isles. Try to keep as far away from car spots as possible. At the Rapid City Wally World during Sturgis, park on the veranda! ha!
2007fxdc, when i park in a parking lot i almost always take 2 spots if i can get away with it. as soon as people can learn to get out of their cars without giving my cars door dings and quit putting their bags of **** on my hood or trunk while they open their vehicle i'll be happy to only take 1 spot. my cars arn't the nicest cars but i work hard to get them and keep them nice looking so when i come out from somewhere i have a door ding in my truck or my bmw i get a little bent out of shape.
I'm sure that whenpeople see you parked like that they walk away, lesson learned and mumbling " "well... guess if the rest of uslearned not to ding him he'd park it right". Surpised no one has keyed you for this. Personally, it pisses me off.

I park mine in a parking spot just like I would park my truck. Why would anyone give me a hard time over that?
Park yours next to the curb or take up 2 spots like some rich ******* in a mercedes and I'll personally give you a hard time about it.
when i'm riding alonei park it on the sidewalk/near the entrance in an out of the way spot so as not to block anyone but where cars can't get to it.if i'm with a group of bikes we'll end up taking a few spots in the lot hoping out increased numbers mean increased visibility.

Well in cases like yours I would take up 2 spaces as well. Just so I can park right next to your bmw as close as possible. Love doing that to people who try to protect their "better than me" cars.[sm=violent053.gif]
I park in the middle of a spot (less chance of getting hit by doors) and in the front of the spot so cars don't zoom in there thinking it's an empty spot. Personally, I don't thinks motorcycles don't belong on the sidewalks. Even if there is a bike rack. Our front tires usually won't fit in the bars anyway. But seriously, if I were parked on a sidewalk I would worry about a little kid admiring the bike and touch it possibly burning themselves.

Yep, I don't ride or park my bike where I wouldn't put my car.
