I was wondering? I read in the Northeast section here that laconia is unfriendly They would not say in what way? I have never been there and would like to check it out this year anybody know what he is talking about? Thanks
Well, it is true that us folks from the northeast are a-holes, but......I've never heardthis about Laconia bike week. Will there be jerks there? Yes. Will there be jerksany place you go? Yes.
I'd spend my time worrying about more realistic things about Laconia bike week. Like rain!
Petemac... hit that one on the head.. always rains for that week. I rode up there twice, had fun except for the rain. the rudest person I met there was Jesse James.... other wise had a great time !!!!!!

I agree with the above post. Prepare for rain for sure. Laconia and surounding area is beautiful and some really great riding. Traffic in Laconia / Weares beach simply SUCKS! Very tight. If you do the strip go early see all there is to se then get out and enjoy the country. JMHO

The only ones unfriendly are the LEO's when you are Dui or disorderly. Everyone else is great. Even thuitis not like it was in the 60's or 70's, it is still a good time.Hugger is right. When Jesse James was here he was a jerk.
