A big thanks to everyone for the advice on the HD split vision mirrors. They came in just in time for my HOG ride today and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I could see the entire world behind me. It was like my mom with her eyes in the back of her head! They were superb in town as well. I could see everything behind me and in the lane next to me. If you've been thinking of getting these...stop thinking and do it. They are worth the bucks and look great.
I love HD Forums, Split Vision Mirrors and Lemon Pledge!!!
OK,I've been wanting these mirrors also but have waited to buy because someone in another post said his wouldnot hold their positions at higher speeds. Please post your results or pm me.Thanks

You have to adjust the two screws on the back of the mirror; that tightens the ball. Did it today, worked perfectly.
I've been debating over whether to buy these mirrors or not. Lately I've been watching eBay for a deal - missed a couple of decent deals over the last few weeks. After reading your review tonight I checked again and found a set for $75 shipping included BIN. Needless to say I bought them immediately. Can't wait to get them on the Sporty!!!
I think you'll really like them once you get used to them. It takes about a days ride to train your eyes to see the four instead of two. You have to mentally choose your mirror for its function. Once your eyes get used to going to the conclave to see the lane behind and beside you or the regular to see what is immediately behind, you'll love em! One of the best things I've bought since I've had it.

I have the split mirrors on my EGC....had them on the Sportster, but looked over-sized. Took 'em off and put the round ones back on. Might have to rethink and put the splits back on. It's a whole new world behind and along side you with the split mirrors.
