I think you will find that a 7x14 will work well. If you stagger the bikes you will have extra room for moving about, strapping down and carrying stuff.
That is the size I had. Most 7x14 will come with dual axles and electric brakes on all four wheels. I would recommend dual axles and electric brakes on anything you may get. It is a lot safer and makes a panic stop less exciting.
Look into Condor wheel chocks also. A little more money but lets one person load up easily.
I have a 7X14 Haulmark Low Profile Trailer. It hauls 2 touring bikes very well. In fact I've had 3 bikes in it before, two touring bikes and one cruiser.
I have a 7X12 that works great. The bikes will need to be staggered slightly. A friend has a 6X12, and it is very tight for two bikes. It will only hold two non-dressers. My 7X12 will hold two dressers. Harbor Freight has wheel chocks for $39.99 that work great.
Thanks guys, I was already kinda thinking a 7X12, I just wanted to hear some real experiences before I lay down $4K for a nice trailer.I don't want something too big, as I also need the trailer for my shifter kart racing, and some dirt biking as well....
Take a look at the newer areodynamic styles. They cost more but they will save wear and tear on the pull vehicle, use less fuel, have a higher resale valueand they look better.

I have a 6 x 12 and it is tight with my heritage classic and wideglide staggered. If I had know that I was going to haul two bikes instead of just one I would have got a 7 x 14. Pingle wheel chocks and floor mounted tie downs. There are better wheel chocks available than the pingles. I bought a single axle on purpose. Fewer tires to buy. I use an anti-sway bar hitch. Trailer pulls better than my camper. Its lighter and just pulls well.
