annoying squeak
On my 1996 Heritage Softtail Classic I get a squeak in the front end when riding two up. I don't hear it when I am alone. I can't find anything loose and it is annoying to listen to this chirp, chirp all day. Any ideas?

RE: annoying squeak
No doubt it's actually a woman making the usual annoying noises in your ear and you just perceive it as coming from the front because the sound is bouncing off the windshield.
Either lose the woman or learn to live with it like other men have to do. \\;

That was my first guess but after the duct tape test, I think it is somehow bike related.

just shooting in the dark...
1-is noise from front forks when they bounce? low in oil or dry seals?
2-check horn bracket, horn assembly, does it vibrate enough to strike engine?
3-heat shields?

I had a Honda chirping occasionally and found out the dealers mechanic left the spark plugs loose.

It might be your drive belt. When you go two up it will tighten some which may make it too tight. Try spraying some belt ease on it and see if it goes away. Then adjust as needed or continue with the spray.
