I just replaced the stock buckhorn bars on my 2000 Fatboy with some drag bars with 8 inch risers. I really love the way they look and love the way the bike handles with them. However, I am getting a very fine vibration through the bars at speeds over 50 mph. It's not all that noticeable in town, but after about 30 minutes of highway riding my hands and wrists are numb. I didn't have anything like this with the stock bars. Any thoughts on the cause and a possible solution to this problem?
If you went from buckhorns to 8inch rise drag bars the installer may have put the hard riser bushings in. This will make you feel the vibration of the bike while riding. Most buckhorn bars have some movement in the risers due to the stock rubber bushings. Yoy may have to install new grips like one other member said.

Can we do a thread on VibeRide handlebar conversion install?
I am in the, 'change out your bushings camp'
Course, you could always take the panhead, with NO bushings in it, for a spin, then your's will seem like a 'dream come true'.
If you can check out a friend or two's bikes that have a set-up that is almost the same, and see how they feel in comparison. This is just something that may take a bit of trial and error before you get it right.
