I was just curious what the longevity of the TC88 motors seems to be. So, if you have had your motor rebuilt, how many miles did it have on it at the time? If you have more than 50,000 miles with no rebuild, I'd like to hear about that too.
I have 37,000 trouble free miles on mine and I am just wondering if a rebuild is in my near future.
I know many guys with the 88's that have 100,000 trouble free miles (besides the normal stuff).
There is no answer to your question, as it really depends on how well the bike is maintained, riding conditions, your own riding style, and the 'luck of the draw' in having an engine that was assembled just right at the factory.
