I have a chance ot buy a '92 Dyna with an Evo that has been modified a bit-it has an Ultima Evo Case, Forged Pistons, reworked Rods, Crane Cam, .030 overbore, S&S Carb, has been balanced, and the Heads ported and cc'd with Valves and Springs to match the Cam. It has low mileage (under 3K since built).
Can you guys tell how well an Evo with these types of Mods will live given proper maintenance and reasonable driving habits? How much increased maintenance compared to stock? Won't this effect the life of the Primary Chain? How about the Trans-are they up to it?
Any and all info would be appreciated-thanks in advance for your replies-
I'll have to get back to you.......mine just turned 80,000 and is ready for more.
Mine is similar, but is .010" over on the bore, and has .050" shaved off the heads. I can get air under the front wheel in three gears, but rarely do it.
