No. My understanding is that in GA, you can ride with them on as long as they do not flash. I'm sure that someone will correct me though if I'm wrong about that, but have had absolutely no trouble.

i'd never put led's on my bike but i may make a few kits for others. i can't believe what they charge for something so goddamned cheap.

I never thought they were that popular until I went to the Thunder Beach rally this year. no less that 4 dealers selling/installing them. some bikes looked nice.others looked like a county fair ferris wheel rolling down the street.

Just like any modifcation some people can make anything tacky when going to the extreme.
