I've had them on and really like them. But have always had a slight binding that I thought I could live with...turns out I can't. Put on a set ofHD grips and no problem. But I want really want to put the PM's on.
Is there some prep to putting on the PM's? I've adjusted and re-adjusted the cables, made sure the housing and clamp are seated properly... nothing. No one else I know has had a problem with them. No apparent burs orrough spots insidethem and don't know if sanding the inside would help or hurt and don't want to mess em up.
There's a chance that the plastic half moon for the throttle screw inside the switch housing isn't seated properly. If it is cocked just slightly, you will get binding.
Since we don't use the throttle screw, I've removed the half moon entirely from our bikes.
