I just installed my xmas gift, set of Contour grips. Everything fit nice except I notice the throttle side up next to the switch housing is really loos and the grip wobbles. Did anyone else have a issue like this? Im thinking of adding an oring under the grip to eliminate the rattle. I cant believe PM would allow this kind of clearances, I have them on my 07 cabled throttle and theres no issue.
Yes, I have those on two bikes and they are the same as yours.
Also since there is no plastic insert or anything between the bar and the metal grip, it can get kinda rough after awhile. I put some white grease in there and it seems to help.
You would think there would be a plastic slider or something in there to take up the space and smooth things out... but No.
