I don't even know if I can reference another website in the title like that....just heard about this site tonight in a post from another member. Who else is an HDFer that's also a member there? My only motivation to check that place out would be for local networking and organizing rides...not all the extra flirting and dating silliness that tends to go with myspace type places. Is it a worthwhile resource?
you CAN reference other sites..... I just went to "bikerornot" seems a silly place (to me) If you want to "network" with other riders in your area, check out various clubs like HOG, SCRC, RETREADS etc.... if you lean towards church groups check out
Christian Motorcyclist Assn. or "his traveling few"
you might even check out meetup.com. plug in your local area, and search for motorcycle, or cruiser, or HD....usually you'll find SOMEONE in your area.
Problem with searching the internet for ridding buddies, is there is a lot of TYPING, and little ridding. You might just scroll fown to "members meeting members" or to 'regional events" on the HDF
As they say - It is what it is. We use to find events, bike nights, ride info that may or may not be elsewhere. It was thru BON that we found the local Meetup group as suggested above. It can be an additional ride resource. Like here, it is what you make it.
Just seemed to me to be a damn singles bar on the internet. Too much, I don't have a bike but would like to ride or I used to have a bike but don't now. And some damn ugly azz women there too. I'll just hang out here

That is sorta the vibe I got after checking it out. Also no one really local to me that wants to ride.
Also the wife frowns on me dating so I might just have to join a club or something.
