Harley went down
I'm an LEO in Tucson and was just at a Harley crash. A young girl in an SUV left a convenience store and pulled out into the path of the 2006 Ultra SE. Both riders on the HD went to the hospital. Both were wearing helmets Wasn't the Harley's fault but make sure we all use extra caution around the cages. Stay alert.

Thanks for the reminder. Hope those two riders aren't hurt too bad.
Wife and I love to ride (her especially) but I'm always weighing the risk vs benefit. Every time I read or hear about one of these tragic accidents or have a close call myself, I question the wisdom of riding on two wheels.
But then I tell myself, it always happens to someone else. We're special. And so it goes........

That's up to the District Attorney. Only the DA has the power to file charges against someone. If they don't feel they can get a conviction, they usually won't waste taxpayer money. I haven't followed that thread recently. Is that the final word, or is it still being investigated?
