just purchased a right hand side chrome toolbox for my 06 springer classic. can anyone give me a quick run-through of the install? I recieved no hardware with the toolbox from the seller, is any required?
I have an 05 Standard but i think they're all pretty much mounted the same way. You should have gotten a bracket with it with two holes at the top and one at the bottom. The two top attach to the fender strut using the original screws. The bracket goes between the frame and the fender strut. The bottom hole is aligned with the passenger footrest mounting hole. You need the extended footrest kit to make this work. Hope this helps and that I haven't misled you since I don't have a springer.
