Not me....my brother dropped a cooler lid on the rear fender of his '08 Train with the Grim Reaper paint set. It left a small but noticeable dent. Has anyone had any luck with paintless dent repair. If not any suggestions...how would he go about gettin that fixed? Thanks
It should be able to pop back out. I'd call a car dealership used car lot and ask them who they use to remove dings. I had a car with several dings in it long ago and had it repaired before I sold it. Repairs were undetectable and it was cheap.
If the paintless dent removal does not work contact H-D and they can repair or replace. I believe 'jakeiniraq' HDForums member had similar problem with an H-D custom paint set and you might want to try and contact him as to what to do.
I read on here (somewhere) about using dry ice to pop the dent back out. If I recall, the dent had to be round and not creased, rub the ice approx. 1" outside the circumference of the dent until it turns white. Then place in sun. Don't quote me on this. Do a search for that thread.

I recall seeing the same thing someplace. I've got a spare tank at home I'm going to try it out on (If I ever get back home).
I've used the fix a dent repair people before to remove dings from my pickup truck. If the paint hasen't been broken or chiped its amazing what they can do by working out the dent from the backside. Really not to expensive either. I paid 125.00 for a small dent about the size of a golf ball. If I remember the name of the company was dent pro, if they happen to be in your area.
Thanks guys. That dry ice thing sounds pretty crazy. I'm going to research that a little. He was going to check out some local paintless dent places. Again, I appreciate your input.
