I am currently looking to upgrade my horsepower in my custom deuce. i have already done stage 1 (pipes, kn airfilter, and ecu download.) my problem is i don't know weather i should do the kuyraken wild things cam or do an upgrade kit from s&s. they seem to give you the same amount of horse. anyone got any ideas.

S&S has been a leader for so long...my best friend just put the wild thang cams in his bike...i should know later how he likes em...the specs on em looked good....but definitely do the heads and go with a bigger bore and a matched cam set ... then a great dyno tune should satisfy you for awhile

Call Bean or Springer at BigBoyz Cycle. They are a sponsor of the forum, their ad can be seen to the right. They really know their stuff and will give you the straight scoop on what you might want to do. Look at Philm's dyno sheet on the touring group's dyno thread, he had head work done by them and put a TW37 cam inside a 1550. He's in the 100/100 club now.

Kuyraken makes chrome bolt-on stuff,S&S does engines.Andrews makes great cams,so does Sifton,as well as Comp cams (V-Thunder Cams),and last but not least Crane cams.Point being is the last 4 companies make cams as thier primary bussiness. But if your truely hung up on names I would go with S&S,other wise I would go with a company that makes only cams.Just my 2cents worth!
