Harley people have done this to themselves! The same as I did as a kid in the 60's and 70's with my dirt bikes and open expansion chambers. I watched as most of the best riding places went away. My current dirt bike is a Kaw KLX300R, street legal and QUIET! In my search for new pipes for my 06 Ultra, Quit was the most important thing. The dealers and other Harley people didn't seem to be able to understand what I wanted. I hate loud pipes and I'm all for the EPA or anyone else who can make it happen.

After 07 there will not be any aftermarket parts on HD dealers shelves, and the 07's will have a chip that will prvent the motor from running if the air intake, exhaust, or fuel is altered.

the hd exhaust was made by vance and hines and is being picked up by drag specialties. we have heard rumors about the race tuner but rumers are rumers till it happens.

Stopped by dealer yesterday and they said that harley is coming out with a different line to replace screaming eagle pipes. Said they got this down at the dealer show. So maybe was just another way for harley to make us worry unnecisarily. Will have to wait and see if this is true. If it is it is a joke in my opinion. But wouldn't surprise me any.

Its only the off road exhaust that is being discontinued the PRO pipes, so lets here another story!

Because you can still buy SE exhaust! But NOT ( ^ )

I just took delivery of a new Sporty on 6/13/06 and had SE II installed

I' ll show you the bike and the invoice

Got my takeoffs put in the box FEDEXed from the MOCO to the dealer

Dealer says no problem with getting SE IIs
