Hey all.
I've got a bit of a dilemma & wanted to get your advice. About 2 weeks ago an aquaintance of mine was killed by a drunk driver. Head on collision & she died instantly. The services for her happened before I knew about her death &therefore I didn't make her funeral.
Today, I learned that a friend at work (crane operator) died early Saturday morning. He apparently put his bike down & died from his injuries. Due to the time of the accident & knowing what he was going through dealing with his ex-wife, I suspect alcohol was involved. He had been paying $1400 month child support for 2 kids & the ex wouldn't let him see his children. Unfortunately, he started drinking a bit excessively. Now, my question...
I want to pay my respects to his family, but my wife thought it may be bad ju-ju...Personally I figure when your time is up, it's up! Of course, with that said alcohol can certainly speed up the process. What are your thoughts?
