It's just an ignorance thing.
My room asked me if I was going to wear assless chaps when I got my bike.
I said I might get chaps. He said Assless?
I told him all chaps are assless, why make the specification.
He said they were gay.

I told him my dad wears kevlar chaps when using a chainsaw and he's not gay.

If you wear chaps to wear chaps, but not for protection or insulation, it's gay.
But if you're ride a horse, ride a motorcycle, or use chainsaws it's perfectly fine IMO.

Yesterday at work someone asked me if I was special because I was wearing chaps.
Told him they were overpants and why would I feel special?

And IT IS YOUR MIND thinking it, so by default we should assume people who think chaps are gay are probably gay themselves, at least in their minds? Ahh, another gay assless chap thread for amusement.
i guess you like you chaps!

if i saw you in your chaps i would think you "look" gay/homosexual, etc....if you think i'm gay because i would think you "look" gay then thats fine.

looking and being gay is not the same (can be though). if your gay thats fine, if your not thats fine too.

why do people on the internet get upset when somebody doesn't like something and gives an opinion?

i didn't use the word ugly, stupid, etc...because the first word that comes to my mind is gay.

would i tell anybody in their face that they look gay for their choice of clothing? no i wouldn't, but thats not because i worry i'll take a beating.

Back to one simple part of my question ....... You said, "if i saw you in your chaps i would think you "look" gay/homosexual, etc". So, please tell me, what exactly do you see when you see a 6' 1", 350# bearded, tattooed man wearing chaps that makes you think he would have sex with another man? If that image pops into your head and you're not gay, you might want to seek out help.

The only thing that is actually gay is a sexual relationship between two people of the opposite sex. And if that's what someone is into, then more power to them. We should all just do what makes us happy and say to hell with everyone else and what they think might be gay.... lol.

I’m confused??? Opposite sex – I hope you meant same sex because I may be gay. I have a sexual relationship with someone of the opposite sex!

Function not fashion! I ride year round as does my wife and we wear chaps year round. I could care less what anyone thinks about how I look with them on.
