I'm running Cycle Shack slipons, Vance&Hines Big Sucker AC and A Vance&Hines Hot Shot remap A total of $600.00 and mine runs about 20% cooler and about the same on power boost. I also lost about 3 miles a gallon on milage. I couldn't want mine to run any better. But when I get the $$$$ saved I will have it dynoed just to see.
What are the best EFI tuners and has any one tried the Fuel Moto?
For now I'm going to just put some Screaming E ,s on and the when I change the AC I will buy aN EFI tuner

hey , i have 08 ultra with the same computor as 07-08 model . i installed a k&n air filter & rush mufflers . while i installed my mufflers & filter i had pulled my maxie fuse first to give time for it to reprogram for the changes when i restarted the engine as it will reprogram in about 100 miles to the new changes to the air flow . i also lost 3 mpg but gained good sound & with no poping sneezing or any adverse stalling or anything .now as for power i'm 62 an never do rpm's . i was just getting rid of that sorry stock AIR filter that needs a $ 30 change every 5000 miles while getting a little harley sound out . i think all you need is to pull the maxie fuse before starting the change & replace the fuse the last thing after changes have been made and it will come to 1050 rpm at idle also if you have an 08 up as they no cables an are fly by wire wired . looks like my new vette throttle system . my thought BUD
I just received my new set of JackPot mufflers today along with a Fuel Moto tuner. Jamie from Fuel Moto told me that the tuner is a power commander III. You should look at their web site. Their warranty is 2 years. They get alot of questions answered on their web site and their prices are really good. They pre program the tuner for your specific bike and mods. Look them up you will like what you read. mike...

Wow thats news. I still have cables on throttle I will do some checking on that thanks for the info, sounds like you are right becauce in some of the info I have read when the efi box was remapped to fit the same setup you have they lost 3 mpg, Thanks for the excellent info,,, still lots to learn after kickin & carbatootin
Update I put the SE slipon's on and with out doing anyting running Great cooler pipes more sound, Nice ,, however when I decide to change the AF, I will try what Domm said, if that works well for now no need to buy an efi unit ? Jees if that works why would anyone say
I just changed to the srceaming eagle slip-ons and wow cooler pipes and better sound
When I change the AC /AF I will have to see what is needed at that time I would like to go to new pipes and AC as soon as cash speaks ,, but for stage 1/2 this is good
