rant...4 weeks for new heatshield

Now that spring has sprung, I noticed my rear heatshield is vibrating like hell., come to find out the two top brackets and the pipe mount by the starter is broken. 4 weeks to get a new black one from V&H. WAAAAA! I may just put her back w/o shields and ride for a while, til it comes in.
OK now I feel better, off to work.

Yours is just the heat shield. My entire head pipe was sent back to D&D in Fort Worth. Supposed to be near 80 up here this weekend and I won't have a bike!

I ordered some heat shields from harley a couple months ago and it took 4 weeks to get them also.

...they should have loaner pipes for you guys. Bummer
