I was riding today and it was windy as hell, though I think a record at 83 in Chicago. My STC has always been squirrelly in the wind, but my right leg stays put.

With forward controls, the wind going up your pant leg makes your jeans act like a sailboat's sail. It will cause resistance and lift.

was just out in the garage eveballin the situation......and the right peg is already stuck out a lot further to begin with because of the exhaust. It's not a matter of wind going up yer leg, it's more of a deal where your leg acting like a sail

You need to shave off all the hair on your legs like the swimmers. You'll glide through the wind...

Schu, as others has noted, it's just the A/C that kicks your right leg out further into the wind than your left. I would think that a SE Heavy breather would allow your right leg to tuck in as close as it's ever going to get and may reduce or alleviate the issue...although, that is just a theory as I have never had one.

Yep, sounds like you're ready for the dreaded "geezer glide".
