Wanting to pick up some new motorcycle boots, but I'm concerned that I'm gonna get stuck with something uncomfortable. I've been leaning towards the Ariat Carbide H2O boot, but am open to suggestions.
Basically I want a pair of boots that I can ride and walk in - all day boots.
I've been trying to buy a pair of Ariat Alloy waterproof engineer boots...'spose to be all day boots, lots of neat features too. Can't find them in stock anywhere.
Might go with the Cruiserworks boots...lots of fans of this one on here.
Cheapest I've seen the H2O Carbide Ariat's was at Sheplers. But I tried on a pair of laceup, and zip Harley Condor's today @20% off, and they were really comfortable. Either one should be good.
plus1 for dorkman, there should be no reason to spend 200 dollars on riding boots. I wear my old work boots that are all dirty and broken in and the most comfy boots ever. I love them so much I'm just thinking about getting the soles redone.
Since I am walking and standing for half the weekend when I teach, I have had the best luck with the Icon Super Duty III's and also my latest pair of boots that are made by Bates (Police/Swat type boots) and they are very comfortable for a lot of walking.
I wear a pair of black Red Wing lace ups, I just double knot them to make sure no laces get into trouble. They're very comfortable. I don't just wear them on the bike. I wear them everywhere.
