Now that the Addison Shoe is out of the business, and I only have one pair of their boots left (thanks to a buddy that scrounged up a pair) I now have some Red Wings and Doc Martens. They are almost as good as my Addison boots, and that's saying a lot.
Have Sidi Doha short boots (~$170) that are great to wear around all day but they don't go all the way up the leg so sacrifice some protection in that area. Great feed back from brake peddle and easy to shift in. Offer significant but hidden ankle, toe and heal protection though and look normal enough to wear anywhere. Like all Sidi motorcycle boots, quality is first rate.
I've been trying to buy a pair of Ariat Alloy waterproof engineer boots...'spose to be all day boots, lots of neat features too. Can't find them in stock anywhere.
Might go with the Cruiserworks boots...lots of fans of this one on here.
A lot of my wife's horse riding friends all were Arait boots. They swear by them. Last forever and have a great no hassle warranty
i stick with doc martens. ride in em and on my feet at work with em all day. most comfortable boot i've ever worn. but i suggest you try anything before you buy it. whats good for 1 person isnt that good for another.
I got the BreakLight Harley Boots at Rural King for $94
I think they look great. I've had lots of good comments.
Dual zippers....they're easy to get on and off. Only have to unzip one to remove them.
VERY comfy.
Great traction, and you feel protected.
I wear Chippewa boots. Not motorcycle specific but they work great. They are actually upland hunting snake proof boots so I'm pretty comfortable with the protection they offer. I work in a "business casual" environment and these work in that setting. Made in the USA and all day comfortable.
Magnum Boots, Stealth model use by SWAT teams. Lightweight, all day comfort (available with or without Gore-Tex for waterproof) and, above all, SILENT for sneaking back in late at night...

I've been using Ariat for the last 4 years. Tried a variety of others, but keep coming back to these.
I ride daily, so I tend to wear my boots 12-18 hours a day, depending on what happens at work. Straight out of the box, they're as comfortable as a pair of old tennis shoes.
