You live in Anniston and ride every day and have never seen 100 bikes on the road? What's the matter, mommy won't let you ride at Mt Cheaha? Every nice weekend, that place is packed. I think you are BSing us about riding at all. Try waving at everybody up there, someone will be winching you out of a ditch, or scraping you off of a wall. Now granted, that is on the weekends, but I bet I still see over a hundred bikes a day in Columbus, GA. Now that gas prices are going up, you will see more, too.

When you see hundreds of bikes a day you just get tired of waving.
Just like this forum when you see the same questions you just get tired of answering.
When I am in the car I always wave to every car I see because we share the same road and
we're all facing the same dangers and all share the same love for 4-wheeled commuting.
I hope you understand...
Thanks for listening
That's absurd. You don't see hundreds of bikes on the road every day. You know what you said is just some ill fated poke. I'd actually like to see some HD rider just admit he doesn't wave to non HD's. But, yes... I have had some HD riders wave. Most do not, though.
I would bet you a hundred dollars I see hundreds of bikes a day ..
Come to Florida you will see....
Sure, in some areas there are bikes everywhere. But in most cities/towns it's like 1 bike to every 100 car. I think we both see each other's point on this one.

I've never ridden Cheaha yet but I plan to. I generally ride to Piedmont down Hwy 9. I used to live in Columbus, GA (ft benning) while stationed there. But I'm out of the Army now.
None of us care if you ride a sportbike. Most of us ride with people that have non-HDs and don't have a problem with it. We just have a problem with TROLLS. That would mean you.

So for asking a simple question, I'm a troll? Ok. You've made yourself clear....
At least some people here gave me some real answers and were not being jerks. Too bad you couldn't do the same.
Geez, then I am gonna bury the hatchet here. Listen, we get a lot of guys on here that just want to stir up crap, and we pretty much give it to em. No, I don't not wave at people on purpose. If you are a pretty new rider, don't take offense to every little thing, and don't listen to everything that everyone has to say about what bike is best, etc. If you did your time in the Army be proud of it and realize that not everyone is trying to be a dick. Your original post sounded inflammatory, like you were setting up for a fight, so that is what we gave you. Just let it go and enjoy the ride. I am in Tikrit right now, so when I get home next year, you can ride your busa down and we will drink a beer.
