I ride mine everyday (if not raining at the start of my ride) to and from work. 70 miles round trip. I've taken my kid to sport practices on the bike when it is just the 2 of us. The Harley ain't gonna melt. Couple of my buddies were talking about their bikes being dirty. Another friend says "You ride to get the bike dirty so you can clean it so you can ride it again and get it dirty".

I didn't buy mine with the intention of it being my normal daily driver, then my truck broke down! Now, it is all I have to drive, so rain or shine...

my FLHX gets more use commuting during the week than on weekends. The 90 mile round trip per day to work and back through farm land is quit nice. All unwound by the time i get home.

Having 2 small kids at home and a wife that works weekends does not equate to much goofing around at this point.

2-wheels is always my first option, whether for work, to the store or for play.

I didn't buy a garage ornament

I do. I also have a cage that I use for groceries and whenever we have fires. However since I'm leaving in a little over four weeks it is about time to turn the fire gear in

Ride it to work everyday 15 miles each way, when it's not freezing out...
and any other time I can carry what I need on the bike (90% of the time).
