Default Loud Pipe BS Now in Canada
Well, sounds like the crackdown on loud pipes has started in Canada. The City of Edmonton in Alberta is set to start ticketing bikes with anything other than stock exhaust starting in July. They claim to be testing their equipment as we speak and will commence testing bikes shortly.

Apparently one city counciler attempted to get the by law amended to include ALL motor vehicles, as he felt that citing motrcycles alone was discriminatory. He was shot down by his fellow politicians who claim that cracking down on ALL motor vehicles was unenforceable.

How do you buy stock exhaust for a '82 Harley? Sounds pretty easy to beat in court.

Usually legislation like this sets a date, older than that date is grandfathered.

maybe it's a good idea. You wouldn't want to scare the meece's would you? or is it moose's?
