YMMV... I've tried several half helmets. my buddies kid me that I've got a helmet fetish... just searching for 'the one'. I've tried HJC, Vega, Daytona, and an ACC novelty. Wore the ACC novelty for several years, but it's pretty worn out and needed to be replaced. the others were all advertised as being small but were not, and sat on my shelf most of the time. a couple weeks ago I picked up a Skid Lid... I gotta tell you, I think THIS is the helmet I have been searching for... It's DOT, and I don't even know it's on my head when I'm wearing it. but thats MY experience, and like I said, YMMV.
I found it for 32.95 on Amazon.com from Jafrum... flat black.
daytona skull cap ---' sposed to be the smallest DOT available. I paid $50 for mine and still wear the novelty helmet. The german novelty helmet just fits too good. LOL.
