Default Speed rating for quick detach windshield?

Is there a speed rating for the quick detach windshields? Curious when I sould expect the clamps to give up and have the windshield shear my head off just above my nose.

If you are talking about the HD quick detach windshield, mine was stable and held on fine at 103 mph. Please understand that this was just for a short blast, I do not make a habit out of riding that fast all the time.

Yes, HD quick detach and I don't maintain speeds like that for long either. But.........every once in a while it seems necessary for one reason or another, so figured I'd ask.

Thanks.

Mechanically "impossible" in theory... but sh*t happens all the time, don't trust it for long periods at high speeds.

Ride safe.

Best regards.

If you look at how it mounts, it can't come off at speed. The pressure from the wind will keep it in place.

Just don’t exceed the speed limit while using reverse and you should be ok.
