Harley part prices VS............
Going out on a limb on this one,
Here goes: I go with the OL to a "bike shop" today, (read this bicycle shop) in Pasadena, Ca
so, im walkin around checking stuff out, I see this cool looking mountain bike and ck the price tag.....4999.00!
WTF, im thinking!
then i walk over to the parts counter and look at the pieces parts.
wheels.....1195.00! (minus the rubber parts)
Cranks, the thing that the pedals go on........750.00 and up! (minus the pedals, theyre extra)
just a plain frame, with NOTHING on it...........2800.00! damn!
and you still have to pedal these ****'s.
Im done complaining about the $$$ the i spend on the "bike parts" that I like!........that is all.

Once they started making the frame and everything else out of carbon fiber the prices just got more and more ridiculous. If you're not planning on serious competitive riding then just a waste of $ in my opinion. And forget about any sort of durability from crashes and other mishaps...

I was with my OL, and she rides a Cannondale on occasion, and wanted an accessory.
I wouldnt consider spending a dime over 300$ for a bicycle.
and frankly, with a couple of V twins in the stable, i dont care if i pedal anything ever again, save maybe a top fuel funny car!

I don't ride ANY bike of any type to stay in shape. I ride it to enjoy life. Sell your HD and move over to the bicycle forum.
If you're going to bash someone, at least learn to spell. lmao.
