It's hard to buy a seat when the stores don't stock them and you can't try them out before purchase from store or on the net.
I have 2010 FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic and need a backrest on driver seat. Harley Signature can be bought for a bit over $400 but looks kinda funky in the book. Mustang with driver backrest and pillion is about $700+. C & C is somewhat less than Mustang. ANY ADVICE?
If you buy directly from Mustang they will give you a 10 day trial period. If you don't like it you can return it for a refund. My free trial expired about 15 months ago, so it looks like I will keep it. Great seat, I use it for all day rides, my Danny Gray is good for half a day.
I Have a Saddlemen solo w/0 a backrest on my 06 Road Glide and I LOVE IT< that said, OTHERS hate the look, so boils down to What Fits your BUTT. and EYES.
I bought the Mustang seat mainly for the backrest and am finding that I get less back pain w/o than with it.
Had a similar issue with the Firehousecustoms backrest and I was hoping the adjustability of the Mustang br would make a difference but it didn't. Just saying that if you have back issues the backrest may or may not help.
That new HD signature seems like a sundowner seat and feels good...i rode a heritage with the stock seat and them went and sat on the one with the backrest and seems that it would be nice...for the money anyway...I like MUstang which is what i have ...Corbin another good choice.
