If this happened during a funeral procession or something really important I can understand some of the reactions.

Motorcycles do not own the roadways. We share them with many other vehicles, most of which can kill us before we can say "oh chit".

Respect goes both ways.

If the event were that large, there should have been a police escort both ways.

If you're group was large enough, why not take back roads to your destination. You would have less chance to get split up and also less chance of any altercation between cage drivers and m/c riders.

I just don't see why you have a right to get pissed. Yes the cage driver over reacted but these two wrongs do not make a right.

Yes, I've seen it the other way when I'm in my cage. A week ago the fam and I went down to S. Utah for a little R&R. Speed limit is 75. All of a sudden we come up on a group of about 30 Dodge Vipers. Almost every one of them is in the left lane with the exception of one or two that were in the right lane to prevent people from passing. They were doing 70 max!

I was OK with it for the first few miles, but we followed them like that for almost 80 miles! I was pretty bent by then. So yeah, just because your on an organized ride doesn't mean that you own the road.

That's when you pass on the shoulder throwing rocks off the tires. They'll get the hint, trust me.

Your upset because someone didnt share in your authority to impede traffic? while I dont agree with him driving recklessly, you did cause the incident by playing traffic light...jus sayin...

I agree that the road needs to be shared, 100 bikes is alot to keep in a group safely. A organized ride of that size should have been broken up into 3 groups with 1/2 mile or so between for seperation

Some people are just idiots... what would it cost him to wait a couple of minutes... now 80 miles is another story, but in this case, it's probably the same type of person who thinks they don't have to wait for anyone; they probably drive down the shoulder or exit lane during traffic to avoid waiting their turn to merge into the freeway, and probably don't pull over for fire trucks and ambulances because they're too important... we used to get these people all the time while in the fire dept... but they're also the first to complain when the fire dept takes "too long" to get to them when they're the ones who need help.

Everyone's in a hurry nowadays... take the time to enjoy life, lower the stress level, and slow down a bit. Common courtesy is no longer very common.

This pass Saturday, with what seemed like 1000's of bikes everywhere, the normal flow of traffic must have got all screwed up becauses a lot of riders and cages too were holding up traffic to let large groups of bikes go by and stay together. I would expect some cagers must have got very irritated that the motorcycle riders in the group did not have to wait their turn like everyone else at the 4 way stops.

But to go out of your way, to cut off riders, and then force your way into the group is just a A-hole way of handling the frustration. What was the A-hole driving? Do you remember?
