Default winter storage

To those that still ride all year long, and keep their motorcycle in an unheated storage building, how do you temporarily store it in between rides; on a stand, type cover, tender, fuel stabilizer, etc. I do all of the prior plus keep it on a jack as time between rides may be up to a month depending on snow , salt (on roads) and temperature.

I fill the tank and treat with StaBil , run the motor for about 5 minutes and connect a Battery Tender. I place a breathable cloth cover over the bike. I don't use a lift for storage. I don't like the idea of leaving unsprung weight on the frame long term.

Fill the tanks, drive them into garage, turn off and there they sit till Spring,I do alternate the battery tender between the two of them as they sit there and sometimes I even cover them heck sometimes I even remeber to change the oil before parking them..Been doing it this way for 30+ yrs without big problems, knock on wood...(have frozen afew batteries before they came out with tenders).....

I park them in the garage when it is cold and snowy. I unpark and ride them when the weather permits. Wife insists on stabil (or sea foam) in her ride, so I accomodate her. My rides get a blanket over them, full tank of gas, and a 25 watt light bulb under them, and a tender for the battery. Nothing more than that. Never had a problem in the spring.
