First off, congrats on still riding at 72. 2nd, ask your doc about the coumadin to be sure but, I wouldn't think it would be a problem unless you fall and cut yourself. It's possible you could bleed to death if the cut was bad enough and you couldn't get help. Prolly remote chance of that but, I guess it could happen. If it were me, I'd be ridin too! Good luck!
Had to stop riding for a couple year because of Liver Transplant.
It damn near Killed me not being able to ride.
Still recommended not to ride (low Platelets) but the way I see it is-
"Yeah I might bleed out, but that's a better option than sitting around waiting to die".
Yep. I take a thinner and an aspirin a day. Had total renal failure along with the stint being put in my heart. Even rode while I was on dialysis. Although the ride after the session was not exactly enjoyable, (dialysis makes one feel completely drained and worn out). Since the transplant, I have no issue. If things become a problem, I'll convert the ultra to a trike before I stop completely.

Yes, I take 5 mg a day + 81mg asprin. Had blood clot in leg a couple years ago ( vein was stoped up bad, leg swell, hurt). Tri care insurance denied the thrombectomy I was going to get and couldnt raise that kinda money in a matter of days. I just got kicked out of the National Guard cause I accidently let the medical department know of it. They are a bunch of fn sissys. Have I slowed down ?? No , hell no. I still ride down the rode at 100 mph. I might start wearing a better helment tho, been thinking about that. In yesterdays paper there was a article that stated that people on warfarin who suffer traumatic injuries are more likely to die,,, 50 percent more likey to die from bleeding of the brain. I am not worried about cutting my self and bleeding to death, as long as you apply 1st aid, I think I would be ok, but a bad sever blunt blow to the head or other internal bleed could do me in....But I will still ride a wild horse, parachute out a plane or what ever I fill like,,, I aint gonna sit on the porch all day long watching the world go by,, I am 56 years. I hope to make many more mile down the road, I will go till I just caint.
I am a funeral director/embalmer,and I take 11mg of warfarin dailey. I still ride and will continue to ride, my theory is when its your time to die you will when the big man upstairs pulls your card. Whether you riding or whatever... So enjoy life and ride.
