Default Step by step for taking off wheels

Yeah, I have a manual and have read it in there. I am looking for a quick step by step on how simple this is. Is anyone willing to break it down. My guess is it would be about like this. Put bike on jack and jack it up. Remove axle covers if you have them. Loosen Locknuts that hold belt straight(I dunno what they are called). Pull cotter pin outta axle nut if there is one. Lossen axle nut. Push wheel forward. Take belt off of pulley. Pull the axle, catch all the stuff held by pulley(brake caliper, etc.)Slide wheel out. For me take to the shop and have tire mounted and balanced, and then reverse the above. Is This about correct? Just asking because I am about ready to get new tires, and want to see how different from my metrics it is. I know, I do have a manual. Yes, it is the Harley one. This is obviously for the rear wheel. One more thing. What size are the axle nuts? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

That's about it in a nutshell. My only caution is to make sure you keep your spacers laid out in the same order as they come off so you do not have any alignment issues when remounting.

You should not have to loosen the alignment/adjusters at all. Once the axle is out, things should move forward, slip belt off and lower the wheel. If you have already loosened the adjusters, hopefully you marked where they were, or measured. If you have to re-adjust, do it rotating the wheel forward only. When you rotate it backwards, the belt will track the opposite way and "make you crazy" trying to adjust it even. Oops, somewhere in this equation, the brake caliper has to come off, if I remember correctly. Good time to replace the pads if needed. I usually change my own tires, and rarely, if ever let a dealer do anything.
