BSL's with BCT QQ Baffles works nicely. Original Cheese Graters would set off every Car Alarm in my neighborhood . . . at or just over an idle. Also would give me a headache after a couple of hours . . . . Now, nice tone, only set off one car Alarm consistently, and I don't need ear plugs. Speaking of which . . . why have loud pipes and then wear ear plugs . . . I don't get that.

My V&H Straightshots are very loud with stock baffles. Had Rush Drag pipes on my old sporty and those were not as loud as these. I picked up a set of quiets for the V&H at the Harley Dealership, they had 'em in stock...just haven't had time to intall them yet. Coincidently the dealership said--'' You must now tune your bike, buy a tuner and dyno time" $750-$850...Whatever. I called another dealer and they said not true, thay said they have been testing bikes for several years now on the effects of just changing exhaust and have found no problems at all.
