Due to having to wear eyeglasses and being a rather large person I just can't seem to find over the glasses sunglasses that fit and I can't have scripts made because of my specific eye issues so I am now thinking of a helmet with the drop down visor/sunscreen.
There are at least 3-4 models out there from various companies so I'm just looking to find out who uses which one and if they like it and why or why not.
I really don't want a pot sitting atop my head so giving up my current lid is not easy.
Unless you're still wearing the same glasses that you wore in the '60's, (lol) you should have no trouble finding sunglasses that fit over your prescription glasses. I have several pairs that I bought from a vendor at a show and shine. I have a couple dark pairs and a clear pair for night riding. The even have foam rubber to help keep the wind out.
Most of those make me look like a bug! The best pair of overglasses I have found for me actually came from HD and only costs $25. I don't have the model number anymore and they only come in black and charcoal.
http://www.g-max.com/gmax/gm55S.html# My wife and I wear this one and we both love it!! It comes in handy when it rains and the sun is in your eyes. I think the platinum series comes with both a clear and tinted visior!!
I have the gmax one with the cracked skull and I love it. At 80 bucks I couldn't resist. I also wear glasses and hated the visors as I felt Like a dirtbike rider again. Now I feel like I'm riding a cobra helicopter lollol.
