you didnt hurt anything.. don't make a habit of shifting under power..you can shift all day with out the clutch if you know what your doing..most people dont have good timing and end up with a slop box trany
ok , old guy here.
a "speed shift " is when you clutch/shift without letting off the throttle.
a clutchless shift is when you blip the throttle to slack the gear dog, and up or downshift without the clutch..
either way you should give the tranny dogs a little slack to change gears.
(It is very hard on the tranny not to give it slack)
Now that is the way I know , however ,with the "new language"
it may have changed..
kinda like "I pulled the trigger today".

Damn good thing you weren't on a metric. Probably would have ripped the heart of the tranny out of it. I done that a few times. No bad noises, no problems. Some folks do it regularly and on purpose too!!! Just be sure not to throw it into reverse over 43 mph. .. That can get pretty fugly...
