Expensive Lesson For Somebody
Going to work this morning, I saw something in the road by an off ramp, in that empty section where the lanes split off. As I got close, it turned out to be a full-face helmet. Can only guess that it fell off a bike because someone wasn't wearing it (hope it was empty - LOL). Don't know much about the latest helmets, but it didn't look like a cheap one. Traffic didn't allow for a safe stop to check it out, but it made me wonder why people carry them if they aren't gonna wear them.

Around here I see alot of sport bikers with the helmets hanging off the one side on the helmet lock, makes no sense to me as it's just beating the paint of the tail of the bike. I just leave mine at home so no need to worry about it.

I was approaching a harley on the interstate when his helmet fell of the back bounced up and damn near took me out.

Sportbike riders do that to pose or just in case they pick up some chicks. I think its pretty retarded that you ride a high performance bike and not wear the right gear associated with it. Or carry a helmet and not wear it. Just like you said whats the point?

That is the main purpose of my tourpak, so I can comfortably ride in the rain when I need to get somewhere.
