Default Zanotti's closing

its a shame my local dealer is closing their doors dec 31st. andy was pretty hard nosed when it came to making a deal but his parts, sales, clothing people and mechanics are top notch.it was nice when i had a question id stop in to see bob and he'd help me out with what ever i was working on. i wish them all good luck in which ever way they all venture off in. now it time to start the search for another reliable dealer, hopefully i can find the same caliber of people who made up Zanotti HD.

A lot of people are going to be upset about this, that 20% off really helps.

That sucks! Why are they closing? I know they have a good reputation and I can't imagine they are hurting for business. What happened?

Default Sad to see them go...

That does suck... Only made it up there in person once, but bought lots online.

Was glad to save money and support local (ish) business.

Thanks for the heads-up though, I was getting ready to place a decent sized order with them. Decided to go with Lake Shore instead. Slightly better price, free shipping, and no sales tax. Oh and not going out of business (AFAIK).

Are they closing, for good? You're sure? I heard that Andy Zanotti was retiring but I thought someone would take over.
Wow, if it's true, it's a big loss for the Pittsburgh region. Who will be the closest to Butler now? 3 Rivers HD in Glenshaw or New Castle HD?

That does suck to hear. I just placed an order with them yesterday and saved nearly $200 going through them.

Well, I have a little retail business experience and can say that it is not unusual to see a business suddenly announce a "closing", followed closely by a "going out of business sale". Then, after clearing out a bunch of old inventory, they bounce back somehow.

I hope that's not what's going on here, but it would not be a first.

Mike
