Default Current Financing on New Bikes
I know this is probably going to open a can of worms (HD financing, credit unions, banks, paying cash, etc.....) but just wanted to check around and see what kind of financing deals everyone was getting on some of the new bikes purchased over the last few months.
Since I've got my first purchase coming up, I want to be as prepared as possible when going to the dealer.

got mine at hd because the credit union wouldnt finance the add on parts.

Hd's lowest interest rate (9.75?) is rape, and god forbid you don't get the lowest?

I financed through my credit union at 4% and that's still pretty high.

Don't let Harley rape you because you want a bike, 10% on 20k for 5 years is over 5 grand.

Wrong - Harley's best rate is considerably less than 9.75. Actually very competitive.

Yes...if you have a 1000+ credit score...

Do yourself a favor & check w/local bank, or credit union - much better rate & less "red tape."

HD was doing 3.9% of up to 48 months for qualified buyers,not too bad.
