If you want to get even, overpay each payment, by check, by .05 then .07, then .12 and keep it up. Usually overpayments have to be manually entered. Never underpay, but always overpay by less than .25.

Then if there is a prepayment penalty clause they can charge you an additional % of the loan as penalty.
And the small overpayments that you make are actually reducing the amount you owe, and the interest has to be recalculated every month if you change the amount every month. My dad drove the electric company crazy like that for about 6 months.
They were going to turn off his electricity because he underpayed by $.10 one month, so he got even. They called him on the phone and asked him to please stop, they were sorry, LOL!
