Last night, I took the bike to an empty parking lot to practice some of the Ride Like A Profriction zone techniques. After about 50 yards of "slow race", the clutch seemed to turn to mush. Had to pull it all the way it to get anything out of it all all.
After a few minutes of normal riding, it returned to normal operation.
Never had this issue on my RK and being a non wrenching, non mechanic kind of guy, I don't know WTF happened.

Thoughts, opinions, comments??
Not sure what U mean to get anything out of it at all..
Does that mean to get it to slip or it wouldn't release.??
Problem is we don't know how long has the oil been in there, how long since the clutch was adjusted, or even if the cables has been lubed..
find out the answers to above questions to see if just some regular maintenance would fix the problem.
U have to explain the problem a little better so we can at least understand whats going on.
There was nothing but slack until the lever was almost pulled all the way in. Then there was no friction zone. It was either engaged or not. It's been a week and 400 miles since its 1000 mile break in service.

Sounds like your clutch cable is stretched, just need a cable adjustment. Every new bike I've had the clutch cable stretches out (clutch lever all the way to grip). Once you tighten the clutch cable things will be much better. I find it takes about 5,000 miles and then the clutch cable is done its excessive break in stretching.

I've got about 900 miles on my RK and have had to have the cable adjusted once already.
