What do ya do when a guy sells you a bike with bad cam tensioners after you explicitly asked if they were bad?

Beat his *** until you get your money back. Or if you paid by check put a stop on it. Them there is small claims court, but if nothing is in writing you are out of luck. So like I said beat his ***.

Did you or somebody with a clue listen to the engine run while warmed up before you bough it ? and how long between buying and discovering the problem ? 2 ways I'll go there and your answers will determine which .

You bought a used bike... Most likely for a good price.... Most likely talked him down a bunch too!!!
Take the Money you saved (you thought you saved) on an awesome deal... Go replace them...
People only sell for a reason
( thanks captin obvious )
Your job as a buyer, to figure out that reason..
Most people don't sell the awesome, great things, they love...without a good reason...
Repairs, money, health...

Fix it and be done!

What was the answer when you asked about them?
Did they say that they had checked them? Weren't aware of any problem? Had already upgraded them?
