I have them and love them. The "regular" mirror part is about the size of the stock mirror. The convex part is larger than the "dot" you get at the auto parts store. You can see the whole lane behind you easily which on the highway is a plus.
Thanks i read thisyesterday and I went out bought myself a pair of them. I have seen them before. But the part number made easyer for me. I liked them so far. Need more riding time to see.
I'm a daily commuter on the bike about 350 miles Mon-Fri year around and a few hundred on the weekend and I can say they work great, keep this in mind most times it's better to see what's beside you(blind spot), David Houghs Proficent Motorcyling book talks about mirrors and gives good pointers on using them to your advantage.
I must have some crappy ones then.
The HD Split Vision Mirrors I have do not have a convex mirror in the smaller/outside portion, and it's angled in, so I see not more than the larger portion of the mirror.
They look cool, but they're useless.
I taking them back next week.
