Default bike covers

Any suggestions on hauling a bike with a good tied down cover for long distances?
I'm thinking the wind may be a problem.
I don't like having things exposed to the weather and debris

thanks

Covers will flap while trailering. This will can cause marks in your paint. I suggest you use an enclosed trailer if you do not want anything exposed to the elements.

I agree with Scarz. First time I trailered my old bike I used a cover and the flapping caused scuffs even though I thought I had it wrapped pretty tight. If you only have an open trailer you're better off uncovered and just wash off the road grime when you get to your destination.

If you absolutely have to cover it and you wont be riding it until you get to where your going, use the clear stretch wrap that they use to stack freight. It clings to itself and wont flap in the wind or harm the paint

Hard to believe, I know, but motorcycles were made to be ridden in the wind, weather and rain.

This sounds like your going to tow your bike to trailer week in Sturgis.

Like Fonda said in Wild Hogs, "Ride hard or stay home" Hey, just say'in.

Exactly. To me, a bike with chips and road grime says "fun was had".... Unless, of course, it was due to trailering the damn thing around.
